DACs are the organizations that will provide technical assistance to practices and guide them through the necessary steps towards achieving meaningful use. After a thorough assessment of what services are needed, the DAC chosen by the practice will develop a work plan that will include tasks designed to successfully:
- Assess the Practice
- Select an EHR
- Implement an EHR
- Achieve Meaningful Use
A Practice may already have a relationship with a DAC or may need help in selecting one. After Registering and completing the REC Agreement, eHealthConnecticut will ensure that a DAC is assigned to help you.
