The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology issued Standards and Certification Criteria (Standards and Certification Criteria for Electronic Health Records
) for the certification of EHR Technology. Any provider, who wishes to become certified for Meaningful Use and as a result, be eligible for CMS EHR incentive payments, must use a “Certified” EHR software system. In July of 2010, eHealthConnecticut issued a Request for Information and collected information from interested EHR software vendors. Over forty vendors initially submitted responses to this RF.I eHealthConnecticut has reviewed these proposals and has posted information on each vendor that meets the minimal qualifications set by eHealthConnecticut. eHealthConnecticut will update this list as existing vendors update their information and as new vendors submit completed proposals to eHealthConnecticut for review.
